Candelabras, chandeliers and candles

Gingersnap Creations' random readhead challenge is for Candelabras, Chandeliers and Candles. Sounds like a good song title.

I dusted off my Inkadinkadoo chandelier stamps and enjoyed playing with my new Adirondack Color Wash sprays in stream and cranberry. I first stamped them with Versamark and then sprayed with the colours. I stamped again on acetate using silver ink and embossing powder.

Nativity

With the start of Advent today, it's appropriate that the card challenge Winter Wonderland wants to cards featuring the Nativity, Mary and Jesus.

For the backgrounds I used Adirondack Color Wash and sprinkled Doodledug flock (left); for the piece on the right I applied alcohol inks. I love the combination of blue and silver for Christmas.
