Take your Acetates

The challenge at Saturday's Workout is to use transparent acetate.

I created a card for Bonfire Night using the Banana Frog fireworks stamps and various inks and embossing powders. The background was splattered with Glimmer Mists. I wrapped a sheet of acetate around the whole card and secured it with a HOTP cardmaker's accent.

Gunpowder treason and plot!

My brother's birthday is on Oct 31, which gave me a good opportunity to use my new Banana Frog firework stamps. I didn't create anything to do with Halloween because to me it's a ridiculous pagan festival, and the British public has been very gullible to turn it into a £160 million retail opportunity.

But fireworks night gets my thumbs up becase it's a uniquely British historical celebration. I just wish it had a bit more focus.
