Three Muses: Music, Music, Music

Music is the theme of the Three Muses challenge. Here is my entry. The girl stamp is by Stampotique and I used some genuine UK Royal Mail stamps depicting iconic music albums.

Summer Music

I get very nostalgic for the summers of yesteryear, the beach trips, the wasps and, inevitably in Britain, the rain. So I loved Arty Girlz challenge of "Summer." I let myself have free rein with the paints, first of all using the resist technique with some peel-offs and a wash of Twinkling H2Os; then using alcohol inks on a panel of shiny white paper, cutting it to represent waves and then using dimensional paint for some depth. The vintage image and greeting both came courtesy of the PC.



Over at Cardvaarks, the theme is Music. Again I put the alcohol inks to good use, creating a background panel; the guitars are from DCWV Rockstar paper and the stamp used is by Woodware.
