Green & black

Rainbow Lady's challenge is to create a card that is green and black. Here is my attempt using Elusive Images' peacock theme plate. I painted it with Twinkling H2Os and made a shrink plastic tile with one of the feathers on the theme plate.

Twinchies

There's always a new craze in the altered art work and it seems to revolve around size...ATCs, inchies, now twinchies. Twinchies measure 2 x 2 inches. Wednesday Stamper's challenge is to create Twinchies.

I found it quite hard - the size was much smaller than I expected!

I used a peacock stamp by Elusive Images and decorated with Twinkling H2Os and a couple of tiny brads.

New peacock stamp

I couldn't wait to try a new A4 peacock theme plate from Elusive Images. I've always loved peacocks - they're so colourful - and with the great selection of different stamps, I was dying to try out different techniques with shrink plastic and maybe Stampbord.

Here's my first attempt: I stamped a peacock using Staz On in teal and hyacinth blue, and painted it with Twinkling H2Os. I also created a shrink plastic tile, highlighting one of the feathers.

I think the peacock would also look wonderful on teal, green or yellow cardstock and torn mulberry paper.

I have a few girls' birthdays coming up so I used the trusty Hanna stamp to create these two cards. I added a handbag charm (Craftime)for a bit of extra bling.
