Today's challenge at Take A Word is Wings. My wings are those of a butterfly. I created a resist background with peel off butterfies and Twinkling H2Os. I stamped a butterfly (Artfacts) on shrink plastic, and added some pretty gauze butterflies.

Wings

Here are my wings for the Lots to Do challenge.
I created the background with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, chalked it and then sprayed with Glimmer Mists and sprinkled with glitter. The script and dragonfly stamps are from the SSP Guild, and the large butterfly, stamped on acetate and adorned with Stickles, was free with Crafts Beautiful. Finally two shrink plastic tiles were smudged with inks and stamped with the dragonfly.

Things with Wings

A new challenge for me, Rainbow Lady is looking for "things with wings."
My card hasn't photographed very well with the flash which is a shame because it doesn't show the sparkly highlights of Stickles on the butterfly, which was stamped onto vellum using a stamp by Artifacts. The greeting is a Stampin' Up! stamp and the flowers are by Prima.

A Bug's Life

Wednesday Stamper challenge is looking for bugs. I chose a dragonfly and some butterflies, the prettiest of the insect world. I chalked the card blank and used stamps by Artifacts and Crafty Individuals, stamping and embossing the silver butterfly on acetate so that its wings bend slightly. I added a couple of other butterflies and some glitter glue.
