The Scream

Didn't get a lot of crafting done this weekend. It was a whirlwind of shopping, seeing John's mum in hospital, doing an indoor BBQ (cooking the food indoors but eating it outside) and buying paint for, and stripping, our home office.

I did manage to find the time today to complete the the first weekly challenge for August on UKS. I'm determined to get back on form with my team points after only scoring a derisory 60 last month.

This time we had to use a sketch, include a musical note, include fibre or something furry, and 11 of one item. I used eyelets for the latter, which was a bit time consuming. I was nearly stumped on fibres because I don't normally use them, but I remembered I keep the little cards from Craft Obsessions thanking you for the order, and these have fibres attached. Bingo, used one!

I couldn't find a suitable photo so I used a postcard of The Scream. I bought this a few years ago when I was in Oslo and went to the Edvard Munch museum. I've always found it fascinating. We all feel like that sometimes! I thought that the paper with writing on and the sheet music, plus some random inking, would suggest distractions and irritations.
