Perfect Day

I've had two attempts at creating a layout about a special day in November last year. In the first one I tried to use some bits of ephemera I had collected from the day: a train ticket, some photos. But they were a range of colours and somehow it wouldn't work.

I decided to go for a simple approach, heavy on embellishments, and just one photo. I made quite a few of the embellishments myself: a heart painted with crackle paint; a Cuttlebugged embossed heart; some stamped and embossed flowers.
