Jewel colours plus gold is one of the challenges at Gingersnap Creations. I've used emerald green and ruby red plus gold (mirri card - doesn't photograph very well) and an image from Alpha Stamps.

Open theme

Sunday Postcard Art has an open theme this week. I produced this postcard a few weeks ago: initially it was to be Paris themed, but somehow the sad expression of the image led me to call it Sorrow. An antidote perhaps to all the schmaltzy excesses of Christmas!

I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the musical score on the gold card and various stamps by Clearly Impressed, Stampington. Euphemera and transparency from Alpha Stamps.

Check it Out

Some check paper on this Christmas card hopefully qualifies for the Scrummy Stash Cafe blog challenge - to use checks or a grid design. Swirl stamp by Art Impressions, image from Alpha Stamps.

Crowns and Wings

I put several new acquisitions to use in my postcard for the challenge "crowns and swings" at Sunday Postcard Art. The crown and Tudor stamps are by Elusive Images and the acetate queen came from Alpha Stamps. I created a background with acrylic paint and used swirl stamps by Stampington. Wings rub-on by Hambly.
