Shaker Card

I've always loved shaker cards but it can be a pain getting positioning the foam pads to stop the sand, or your chosen "shake" from escaping. So I was interested to see new plastic spheres, available from Hunkydory Crafts, which provide a better seal.

This card was for a friend who loves the seaside. I stamped the cottage scene and coloured it with Copics and Twinkling H2Os, and did the same for the seagull (Elusive Images).
I sealed the sphere with PVA but not before adding some builder's sand.

It wasn't 100% effective - some of the sand has been escaping. Anyone else tried these spheres? I would like them to be in a smaller size as they are quite large.
